At Babette, our mission is to craft a luxurious Indian hospitality brand, dedicated to offering discerning travelers something truly exceptional: exquisite, full-service villas in India’s most stunning destinations, each thoughtfully designed to provide the ideal setting for relaxation and connection.
Our name comes from the novel ‘Babette’s Feast’ by renowned author Karen Blixen.
Like Babette, the fiercely passionate main character, we are dedicated to serving our guests, creating moments that lingers and soften their hearts.
Babette Villas are as welcoming as they are luxurious – abodes of comfort and privacy, coupled with five-star service. All our staff are comprehensively trained at our very own Babette School of Butler Training – a place of learning and refinement we established to ensure they fully master the timeless art of butlering.

Shravan is the strategist behind Babette.
A MBA graduate from Vanderbilt University in the US, he successfully built and ran the Travel Tours Group and has been involved with the tourism industry for over 20 years. The Travel Tours Group was acquired by Flight Centre Australia in early 2017, and the combined business was ranked, by the Times of India, as the second-largest travel enterprise in India.
Shravan is one of the founders at YOURS – a market leader in fractional ownership of luxury holiday homes. As an avid technology aficionado, Shravan is also an active investor in travel tech startups.

Uttam is the pivotal force behind operations at Babette, leveraging his extensive background to spearhead various aspects of the establishment.
Armed with a Masters Degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University, USA, Uttam has successfully owned and operated various hospitality ventures. He opened the first hotel in Chikmagalur, the iconic The Planters Court. In Ithica Consulting he was in charge of providing owners representation for hotel development.
Uttam is a serious foodie and during Corona he just could not stay idle and started Curly Sue: a cloud kitchen serving some of the finest food.

Head of MarketingJeenal is the marketing strategist at Babette. She works closely with the creative heads, the PR team and media houses to build the Babette brand.
With a Degree in Commerce and a Masters in Business Management, Jeenal has more than 20 years of experience in the tourism industry where she has developed, nurtured and managed a great selection of brands.

She is the force behind crafting unforgettable experiences for homeowners and guests. She has worked in various verticals with big giants like ThomasCook, SOTC & FCM travel solutions.
A trained Carnatic classical singer with many accolades for her top performances, Deepti is a lover of all kinds of musics.
